Brodenbach is a state-approved health resort. Fresh air comes in from the two densely wooded side valleys, the Ehrbachtal and Brodenbachtal. Breathing in clean air is guaranteed. The heat-retaining Moselle slate guarantees a very pleasant, mild climate for holidaymakers in this region between Koblenz and Cochem. Above the picturesque towns of the Ehrenburg valley, the 12th century Ehrenburg Castle dominates on a rocky outcrop. Each year, two national and highly popular sporting events take place here. The international ADAC motorboat race and ‘Brodenbacher Berglauf’ mountain run offer top-level action and fun.
